Gayatri Jayanti and Ganga Dussehra are the sacred parvas of the descent of Adya Shakti Vedmata Gayatri and Bhagwati Ganga respectively. It is believed that the primordial power Mother Gayatri descended on earth on this day to help almighty create this world.
It is on this day in 1990, Revered Gurudev also shed his physical sheath and became one with his deity – Mother Gayatri. Under the guidance of his spiritual master, he made Gayatri a mass movement. Due to his herculean efforts, today this mantra is reverberating in all parts of the globe. Gurudev sought the help of Gayatri to accomplish a noble objective – Ushering of New Era of Harmony and Peace.Gayatri Jayanti is celebrated in Shantikunj for 3 days. It will be 10th, 11th and 12th of June 2019.
