It is a pleasure to inform you that the first class of 2nd semester of the Sanskar Kendra was held successfully on Sunday, January 21, 2007 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at Deer Park Community Center, 41 Homer Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729.
The students in the class were very enlightening and enthusiatics. This could not be possible without parents’ dedication and cooperation.
The complete schedule of classes for the 2nd semester is given in the web-link below. Please print this and keep in the class folder of your son/daughter. We encourage your child to attend all the classes as it is important for building good Sanskars in them.
Please inform your child to bring the class folder everytime he/she attends the classes.

Semester I – Fall 2006
With the grace and blessings of Gurusatta and Ad. Dr. Saheb, Sanskar Kendra of Long Island (SKOLI) was officially opened by performing Deep Yagya and Vidhya Aarambh Sanskar on Sunday September 10, 2006. First teaching class will be held on September 24. It will be run every other Sunday until December 2006. 18 kids have enrolled for this teaching program. The teaching will be done by professional teachers and will be based on the book “Indian Culture” by DSVV and the “Purna Vidya” Curriculum of Aarsh Vidhya Gurukulum of H. H. Dayanand Saraswati. The younger generations will be the backbone of the “Yug Nirman Yojana” in the future and this will be very very small step in that direction to educate younger generation about the Divine Indian Culture. Your suggestions and guidance are most welcome.
Second Semester will run from January 17, 2007 till June 2007.
