Reviving Vanprastha

Vanprastha Sanskar (Dedicating the retired life to the community service )
 

We must make efforts to revive the tradition whereby those who are done fulfilling their familial responsibilities, who are in retirement, or who have enough for their financial security, dedicate themselves to serving the wider community. One can perform services by living in own itself. From the perspective of creating a New Era, it is essential that we revive this noble tradition.
 
Thousands of Gayatri Pariwar Parijan are involved in various creative activities as part of Vanprastha.
 
There is special training for art of serving conducted every month in Shantikunj, Haridwar. It is free of cost along with Food Prasad and accommodation provided by Shantikunj.
