2 Days Workshop on “Discover AI/ML with Azure Cloud” Empowers Students with Future-Ready Skills
Under the guidance of Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, the Department of Computer Science, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, in collaboration with ScholarHat, successfully organized a two-day intensive workshop titled “Discover AI/ML with Azure Cloud” on 3rd and 4th November 2025 at Ramanujan Lab, Chaitanya Bhawan.
The workshop was designed to provide students with practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cloud Computing through the Microsoft Azure platform. Participants explored a wide range of topics including:
- AI Foundations with Azure – covering Python for AI, AI & ML fundamentals, Azure Cognitive Services, and Responsible AI Principles (Fairness, Bias & Transparency).
- Building with AI – focusing on real-world integrations with Vision, Speech, and Language APIs, Computer Vision, Object Detection, and Generative AI & Chatbot Development using Azure OpenAI.
In addition to the technical training, students also had the unique opportunity to face mock interviews with industry experts, helping them enhance their professional readiness and improve their communication and problem-solving skills.
The workshop enabled participants to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI, build AI-driven projects, and earn a Certificate of Participation. The interactive sessions and real-world applications reflected the university’s commitment to blending academic learning with practical exposure and technological excellence with ethical responsibility.
The event concluded with great enthusiasm, reinforcing Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya’s vision of nurturing value-driven technocrats ready to contribute meaningfully to the evolving AI-powered world.
