Dr. Chinmay Pandya Calls for Trust-Based, Value-Driven AI Governance at AI Impact Summit 2026
Representing Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Honourable Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya, in the distinguished sessions held on the opening day was “Trust as a Global Imperative: How to Operationalise Safe AI for All”, a thought-provoking dialogue, Dr. Pandya emphasized that: Trust is not a technological output; it is a moral foundation. AI must be guided by human values rooted in compassion, responsibility, and collective welfare. India’s ancient wisdom traditions advocate conscious innovation — where knowledge is aligned with dharma (righteousness) and global well-being. The future of AI governance must integrate scientific excellence with spiritual intelligence, ensuring technology strengthens humanity rather than fragments it.
He further highlighted that institutions like Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya are actively working towards integrating ethics, human values, and consciousness studies into emerging technology discourse — creating a model where innovation serves humanity.
The AI Impact Summit 2026 continues over the next three days with multiple high-level sessions addressing democracy, governance, ethics, innovation, and societal transformation in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
