Empowering the Future: AI Training Workshop Organized at DSVV under ADiRA Program
Haridwar, March 10, 2026 – The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya organized an intensive offline AI Training Workshop under the university’s ADiRA (AI for Digital Readiness & Advancement) Program, under the visionary guidance of Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor.
The workshop commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, reflecting the university’s unique integration of cultural values with modern technological learning. The lead AI trainer, Mr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, was welcomed with a Mantra Chadar by Dr. Smita Vashishta, Head of the Department, along with Dr. Ajay Bhardwaj.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to key aspects of Artificial Intelligence, including the fundamentals of AI, generative AI and prompt engineering, practical AI tools, ethical considerations, and strategies for developing long-term AI proficiency. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions on the evolving role of AI in media and communication.
Following the workshop, Mr. Tripathi met with Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya, who appreciated the department’s initiative and emphasized the importance of equipping students with emerging technological skills while maintaining ethical and value-based learning.
The program concluded with the recitation of Shantipath, marking a meaningful and enriching learning experience for all participants.
