From Ideas to Impact: Building Communication Skills for Future Careers
The Dev Sanskriti Career Guidance Centre, in collaboration with DISHA (Psychological, Spiritual & Career Counselling Club) - Dev Sanskriti Students Club, organized an engaging session titled “Communication in Motion” under the series “Career Launchpad – A Series on Graduate Attributes,” conducted under the guidance of the Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji.
Focusing on Communication Skills, one of the key Graduate Attributes recommended by the University Grants Commission, the session encouraged students to explore creative thinking, imagination, and creative writing through interactive activities. These exercises enabled participants to express ideas confidently, think innovatively, and collaborate effectively with their peers.
By engaging in such experiential learning practices, students develop essential abilities such as clarity of expression, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork—competencies that are highly valued in professional environments. Strengthening these skills not only enhances academic performance but also prepares students to communicate their ideas effectively, solve problems creatively, and adapt to diverse workplace challenges.
At Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, learning extends beyond traditional classrooms through experiential and activity-based initiatives and through initiatives like Career Launchpad, the university aims to nurture well-rounded graduates equipped with the competencies required to build meaningful, impactful, and successful careers in an evolving global landscape.
