UNESCO's Gabriela Ramos Visits DSVV: A Step Towards Global Collaboration in Ethical and Holistic Education

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya had the distinct honour of hosting Ms. Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO.
She was warmly welcomed by Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, who extended heartfelt felicitations on behalf of the university. Following formal introductions, Ms. Ramos was escorted on a guided tour of the campus, where she explored our academic blocks, research centres, student facilities, and at length engaged with faculty and students.
During her visit, she expressed keen interest in our holistic approach to education, integration of cultural values, research in social sciences, and our vision for sustainable community outreach. She commended the university’s commitment to blending tradition and modern knowledge, and encouraged stronger international collaboration, especially in areas of ethics, social transformation, and inclusion.
As Ms. Ramos departed, Dr. Pandya presented her with a memento symbolizing our gratitude and hopes for future cooperation. Her visit was not only a matter of great prestige for the university but also an inspiration for all those striving to contribute to global knowledge, equity, and human development.
