Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Hosts “Alumni Speaks” Session on Storytelling in Journalism
Department of Journalism & Mass Communication in collaboration with the Dev Sanskriti Alumni Association at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, successfully organized an engaging Alumni Speaks Session titled “Storytelling for Impact: How Journalists Shape Public Narratives.” Under the guidance of the Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor, the initiative aims to strengthen the connection between alumni and students by creating platforms where alumni share their professional journeys and insights.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Raju Ram, shared valuable perspectives on the power of storytelling in journalism and how narratives influence public understanding and social discourse. Drawing from his professional experience, he highlighted the responsibility of journalists in shaping informed and ethical public narratives.
During the session, students gained insights into the evolving media landscape, the importance of impactful storytelling, and the role of journalists in fostering responsible communication. The interaction encouraged aspiring media professionals to develop a deeper understanding of narrative-building as a powerful tool for social change.
