शास्त्राण्यधीत्यापि भवन्ति मूर्खा
यस्तु क्रियावान्पुरुषः स विद्वान।
सुचिन्तितं चौषधमातुराणाँ
न नाममात्रेण करोत्यरोगम्॥
शास्त्र पढ़कर भी मूर्ख होते हैं, परन्तु जो क्रिया में चतुर हैं वही पण्डित हैं, जैसे अच्छे प्रकार से निर्णय करी औषध भी रोगियों को केवल नाम-मात्र से अच्छा नहीं कर देती है॥171॥
