‘AI for Sanskriti’ International Summit at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar

The Future of AI Will Be Secure Only Through Ethics and Discernment

Under the joint aegis of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shantikunj, and the IndiaAI Mission (Government of India), an International Summit on the theme ‘AI for Sanskriti’ was organized at the Mrityunjay Auditorium. The summit was aligned with the “AI Impact Summit” series held in New Delhi and brought together distinguished experts from India and abroad to deliberate on the cultural, ethical, and human dimensions of Artificial Intelligence.

The summit was chaired by Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji (President, South Asian Institute for Peace and Reconciliation; Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya). The Chief Guest was Dr. Fadi Daou Ji (Executive Director, Globethics), and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Shilpa Desai Ji (CEO, Eros International).

In his presidential address, Dr. Pandya emphasized that “Without discernment and ethics, AI can become destructive.” He highlighted the need to integrate the core values of the Indian Rishi tradition—unity, compassion, purity, and equality—into the development of AI to ensure a human-centric technological future.

Dr. Fadi Daou underscored the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family) as the foundation of global peace and described cultural diversity as humanity’s collective strength. Dr. Shilpa Desai described a value-based approach as the true direction of technological advancement and appreciated the visionary initiative of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
