Under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice President( DSVV ) Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IAI), in collaboration with Department of Computer Science, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, organized a Hands-on AI Agent Engineering Bootcamp. The bootcamp provided students with practical exposure to modern Artificial Intelligence tools, AI-assisted software development, and emerging agentic technologies through industry-oriented hands-on sessions.

The bootcamp introduced participants to the modern AI ecosystem, Large Language Models (LLMs), hosted and local AI environments, AI coding tools, APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows. Students explored platforms and technologies including Hugging Face, Ollama, OpenRouter, OpenCode, Docker, n8n, Tailscale, and PyPI, gaining an understanding of how contemporary developers integrate Artificial Intelligence into real-world software development and intelligent automation workflows.

The technical sessions were delivered by *Mr. Manupal Choudhary, Technical Officer, ICMR–National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. A key highlight of the bootcamp was the hands-on experience with OpenCode, where students used AI-assisted development to transform their resume information into functional web applications. The sessions also introduced participants to Linux-based development environments, Python package development, intelligent automation using n8n, and modern tools used for building and managing AI-powered applications.

The initiative reflected the University’s commitment to strengthening the Institute of Artificial Intelligence as a platform for experiential learning, innovation, and emerging technology education.
